Realization of intelligent communication gateway for the bus of the future.
Today the buses (light, heavy and Ile-de-France), long distance and mixed are equipped with owned equipment. This greatly complicates the integration and updates, and also increases maintenance costs. Some applications are redundant, such as the geographical location and the different communications gateways (which in addition to being redundant, is creating interference between themselves). So it is from this need for standardization, integration of all such equipment in a multimodal architecture with open protocols that can share common resources and while controlling the reliability and availability of the architecture that the EBSF project was born. Initiated by the European Union with a consortium of 49 partners representing 11 countries, the project is to develop HFBF over 4 years a new generation of urban bus incorporating the latest technology and designed for the European transport network. This bus will provide various types of information related to the transport industry applications via a single communication gateway. Our job is to configure the gateway implements two algorithms: one that will allow new flows exchanged management with different settings and under different scenarios and the other will allow switching from one network to another (Wi-Fi/3G) as a strategy in place.
